I’m an industrial designer, but I’m also a metalsmith, metal fabricator, and occasional woodworker. All in all, I’m about 50% designer and 50% maker. Each half both informs and builds upon the other.

I believe the job of design is to make things human – to create worlds that are not only functional, but enjoyable, for all people. My hands-on experience across disciplines has taught me that meaningful work comes from understanding every detail, from concept to fabrication or manufacturing.

When I’m not making stuff, I enjoy reading, cooking, and browsing Facebook Marketplace for really good deals.
