Visualization

This page contains a variety of visualization work from smaller projects, or that I've done for fun. You'll find traditional ID sketching, sci-fi illustrations, graphic design, and urban sketching.

Sci-fi Illustrations

I’m a huge fan of science fiction books, movies, shows, and everything else. These are some drawings I did for fun in my free time.

Urban Sketching (in Japan)

I went to Japan in the Summer of 2023 for an abroad program. During my time there, I spent a lot of time observationally and diagramatically drawing at cool places.

Traditional ID Sketching

These are sketches that I thought were neat, but the projects they were attached to didn’t make the cut.

The Zinn Cylinder

In our 2nd year visualization class, we were tasked with learning about O’neill Cylinders and other theoretical ways in which humans could live in space stations off of earth. We had to come up with our own, then make a poster about them.

Izakaya Poster

Much of my short time abroad in Japan was spent enjoying great food in a uniquely Japanese sort of restaurant called an Izakaya. I liked these places so much, I made a poster about them.

The Chair Poster

This incredibly iconic chair has an intricate and unique manufacturing process, a cool origin story, and is frequently knocked off. The goal of the poster was to give the viewer the knowledge to differentiate knockoffs while telling an abbreviated story of the real chair’s origins.
